A checklist for evaluation of a reverse shoulder replacement includes:

• Aligmnent of of the humeral and glenosphere components. If dislocated: Anterior or posterior direction.
• Whether the metaglene is flush with the native glenoid
• Whether the metaglene anchoring screws are within the scapula
• Any regions of radiolucency at the component-bone or bone-cement interfaces.
• Whether components are intact.
• Whether the inferior border of the scapula is being eroded by the humeral component
• Any regions of heterotopic bone formation
• Whether supporting bones are intact.
