A checklist for evaluation of a reverse shoulder replacement includes:[1]
- Aligmnent of of the humeral and glenosphere components. If dislocated: Anterior or posterior direction.
- Whether the metaglene is flush with the native glenoid
- Whether the metaglene anchoring screws are within the scapula
- Any regions of radiolucency at the component-bone or bone-cement interfaces.
- Whether components are intact.
- Whether the inferior border of the scapula is being eroded by the humeral component
- Any regions of heterotopic bone formation
- Whether supporting bones are intact.
