Following are general notes on evaluating radiology images.

==Comparison==
Generally, compare mainly with the most recent previous image. It is warranted to look at even additional previous images when previous images are pathologic as well, and the chronology of the disease process may be important, or a comparison needs to be made with an even older image that shows the normal anatomy of the patient.
