==HRCT of a normal thorax==
Following are [[high-resolution computed tomographHRCT]]s imagess of a normal [[thorax]] (except for some mild degenerative changes in the vertebral column) of a 37 year old man who presented with unspecific breathing problems, published with written informed consent. They are taken in the axial, coronal and sagittal planes, respectively. The slice thickness of 3 mm in this presentation is a bit thicker than a standard HRCT. To move through the images, hover over the image and use scroll wheel, drag the mouse over the image, or click the < or the > above each stack. This functionality should activate when the page is fully loaded, which may take some time. While scrolling, there may be flickering the first time each image appears in the stack.
