Scope
The hip region includes the space lateral and anterior to the gluteal region, inferior to the iliac crest, and around the proximal femur.[1] In radiology, the main components are:
- Proximal femur, when referring to hip fractures
- Hip joint
- Inferolateral parts of the hip bone
